Just brought home my new 75 B! Absolutely gorgeous! Pictures do NOT do these things justice. Oozes beauty. Haven't gotten to shoot it yet but have been tinkering around with it a bit. Noticed there is a lot of takeup in single action mode. Its smooth, not gritty or anything, just long. Got the safety model, so DA isn't much of a concern for me. Does the single action takeup get better with breaking in, or is it something that a trigger job is gonna have to do? Again, haven't shot it yet, and I feel bad asking a question like this with having even shot such a well made pistol, but curiosity runs wild with me.

Above is correct. Also if you have been dry firing it you will notice the hammer camming rearwards before it drops. Only way to fix that is to replace the hammer with a CZ Custom hammer, send your hammer to Cajun Gun Works or get your files out and change the geometry yourself. I thought my triggers were gritty and doing a little polish job helped speed up things.
If you plan on doing any work yourself make sure you have a starter punch. Some of those pins are uber tight and staked in the hammer and strut area |

Anotherfor Cajun Gun Works.
I did this: http://www.cajungunworks.com/cgw_2.html i got the target/comp cut and the light spring kit and it feels like a tuned 1911 trigger. |
