| Just bought my first smith n Wesson. Its a model 60 pro series 357. Love it so far think its my new edc. Anyway I have alot of firearms just not alot of revolvers. My only other revolver is a judge and a raging bull 454. My new smith is 357 mag but I keep hearing of guys shooting 38 or 38+p for target then 357 for carry because its easier on the gun and hand and wallet. Main question is since the gun is chambered for 357 doesn't that mean that I can choose to only shoot 357 out of it and nt worry about premature wear? That's why I went with a smith revolver was the durability reputation. Is it really that hard on the gun even though that's what it was made for? Or is this only a concern for the cheaper name brands or the super light weight snubies made of plastic or aluminum? Thanks for your time! |
