just got a p238 sas bought to colt mustang mags for it ? is do i need to mod these mags to work in the gun? if so plese tell me how thankx lots Nick sunny fla.

Try them . Some say they work as they are made, others had problems.

What 1in7 said. Try them out. The Mustang mags is what made me get rid of my Mustang. They are inferior to the Sig mags. If you can save up some loot I'd try buying one of those. Congrats on your 238. I love mine!

The newst styled P238 mags are different than previous versions which are more like the original mustang mags. I would go with the newest slope/dimple follower mags from Sig. Sig copied the mustang which many had problems with but have been correcting its original faults along the way, like the magazines.



The above mag is the newest type that came with my P238. Since then I have acquired 3 more of the same design with zero problems.

For plinking, mustang mags would be fine.  if you plan to CCW, get the Sig mags and never worry about it..  couple bucks more for a little piece of mind with your already $500 handgun.   Here are 3 for $109;
