I have been doing some practice on one of my not so good pistols. MY S&W sigma .40 cal. I did my own stippling to the grip and trigger work by removing spring. Now I want to paint it. I was thinking of just using the krylon camo paint. Just wondering if it will hold up. This is just a junker gun I am practicing on.

It will wear over time in the places you grip it and from.holstering it. I would not see that as a problem, just gives it character. I hate the way brand new guns look...

Ever considered Duracoat? Lauer Custom Weaponry just came out with these amazing all in one aerosol cans in a few popular colors (black, coyote, FDE, even pink).

Super easy to do. If I can do it, I'm sure anyone can.

that stuff is expensive, just looking for a cheap way to do it. I was going to get the alumihyde paint from brownells but they want 10 to ship one can of spray paint which is ridiculous. I just painted it this morning with the rust-oleum camo paint. used the sand color so far looks good.
