What is the rundown on plus two mag extensions?

Do you use the original springs?

Do you use any of the old floorplate hardware?

Any experience with the CDNN type?

Who has the best prices on them?

Yes

...Do you use any of the old floorplate hardware?...

No

....Any experience with the CDNN type?.....

They are so, so for quality and function.

Get the factory +2s. Arredondo, Dawson and a couple others make very good +4 & +5rd extensions also.

Most are about the same price = $10 for the +2 and insert(be sure you get the insert!)

I changed all of my springs to longer wolf springs when I added floorplate extensions. That helped eliminate fte problems with the old (shorter) springs.

I think, for now, I will just keep buying more mags in anticipation of the next election and upcoming possible bans, then add the plus two's later, because of their relative high cost as compared to an actual magazine.
