Try the fun shows first.  Gun stores would give you $450 for it for a trade and then sell it for $800

Online maybe...probably not in a shop. I'd buy the USP and then sell the Sig...you will come out waaayy ahead.

NIB I see them for $1K.  If you find a motivated guy who has a standard USP 9mm NIB then you should be able to make the trade.  IMO the pistol, any pistol, shot and used be it one shot or a thousand, is only worth about 80% of new price if absolutely LNIB and that means everything complete and no wear marks at all.  To a dealer who marks up prices usually 30% it will be worth a lot less to him since he can get the SIG for about $700.  The HK new is about a $800 pistol NIB.  So he is getting it for maybe $600.  A dealer MIGHT do the swap but I would be surprised.  Even though they are coming out on top it still goes against their nature to trade used for new without boot.

In arfcom fashion, I would say keep the sig and buy the USP so you have them both.     Being a fan of both sigs and HKs, I agree with the other poster that you would probably be better off if you bought the USP and then sell your 226.  You shouldn't have a problem getting rid of that sig as that's a nice setup you have.
