hello;

have 2, bought ftf, paid $275 for each,

got at least 10 magazines from a pawn shop, $13 each, have a total of 15 magazines, most are 15 rounders.

very under rated pistol.  not fancy, points where i look, works every time.  have put at least 1k+ rounds through each pistol.  not the best for ccw, to thick.

simply, just a damn good pistol that works evey time and it don't cost an arm and a leg.

I had one for about 1.5 years and just traded it in for my XD-40 Subcompact.  When I got my CCW I needed a smaller gun and this was not it.

It was a good gun for what it was, for me it was accurate and I liked shooting it but I do like my XD a lot more.  Be aware it is just a heavy lunky gun for a 9mm but if you can get one cheap go for it just don't expect to use it for a CCW.

To me it's like a 10/22 or 22/45- not fancy, no drama, not sexy, but works well and doesn't have al lot of problems.  Yes it's kind of clunky, but I think it is one of the cheapest decent quality gun you can find.

It was the first firearm I ever owned.  There were a couple problems but nothing serious.   I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone if it fits their purpose––it isn't a hunting handgun or a bug.  It is good for what it is.

I had one at one time.  The extractor was faulty and Ruger sent me a replacement.

It was very accurate.

After replacing the extractor it was reliable, out of the box couldn't get through a mag.

Ruger autos are generally both reliable and accurate.  Built hell for stout and will last forever.  A bit large and clunky, though, so try one out if you can before buying to make sure it fits you OK.  On the flip side, if you're going to use it for HD, the size makes it possible to deliver a proper pistol whipping should the need arise

Like everyone else said, tough, cheap, bulky, etc. My main beef with them is that the safety is so awkward and high on the slide that I can't operate it with my hand in a firing position.

Well if you have the one with the Decocker the position of the safety is not an issue.  If you are unsure the decocker lets you drop the hammer on a full chamber so all you have to do is fire the first shot double action and then the rest will be standard semi-auto.  If I had to choose I would definately pick the DC over the one with a manual safetybut I guess that is just because I had that one.  As far as I know any of the newer models are being made with the decocker only.

I love my P95, for the money you'll be hard pressed to do better. For H.D. it's really shines. I have a TL-1 light on mine.  Works good lasts a long time. Hell the Army bought 5000 for the Iraqi's, so they can't be all bad.

I had one w/ safety and rail.  It was OK- nothing to be excited about, shot maybe 50 rds through.  I then, sold it to get a CZ75B compact for the same money-  couldn't be happier.
