Can I use 124gr +P ammo in a full size USP 9mm? Increase wear?

It is safe, increase wear? Not really, its very subjective as in I had to swap out part Y at 10k instead of 10.5k.

It's safe, perfectly so. If you look in your manual you will see it says that while +P and +P+ is perfectly safe for use in the USP it will accelerate wear on your pistol. Nothing new there. That just means it will last two lifetimes instead of three.
