| I looked through the topics and I didn't see a thread about BHP serial numbers for the date of manufacture. I know the one I got from my Dad has to be date at least in the '70s but just to be sure. The serial number on it is 72C60XXX. |

The serial number on it is 72C60XXX. Easiest Hi Powers to date are the "C" series.
