Step into the way back machine.

1985. NIB, from shotgun News. American style mag. release. P220 .
Start handloading with a lee hand press. Slowest thing I have ever done. 100 rounds every two weeks at least. Sometimes a couple hundred a week.

1987 Buy Dillon square deal. OH MY FRIGGEN GOD. double my pleasure every Friday 100 rounds most of the time. Sometimes a couple hundred on friday if it was a good payday

1988 Slow down 100 round a month.

1999 100 rounds a month

2000 Join range by house 200 every other Sat.

2001 Start shooting IPSC and IDPA 1000 rounds a month

2002 Extractor broke during a match, only problem every. 500 to 800 month.

I am to lazy to do the math, I do know I LOVE MY P220

My P228 was absolutely the most accurate gun I've ever shot out of the box at 15 - 25 yards.

And then I bought a two-tone P220.  Both shoot about the same group-wise, but the 220 takes the slight edge as far as which gun's group is closest to the 10 ring.  And when I say "slight edge," I mean less than a quarter inch...

Sig is just "too cool."

Well, still waiting for my first malfunction or breakage on ANY of my SiGs. They are about as boring as driving a Volvo.

I'm well past 42,000 rounds through my P226, and other than a new Bar-Sto barrel in 1995, it's never failed.
