[ARCHIVED THREAD] - sig 229 trigger

i have a 229 and love it. i tend to not shoot it great yet and think its the spungy trigger on it. is this something sig owners get used to with pracice or do they usually get trigger jobs? its a sa/da in.40 by the way

You just need to practice. I also have this gunand it took a while to get good with it. Shoot every week if you can a minium of 300 rounds and get some formal training at a shooting school. Nice gun and enjoy it!

I’ve got the pretty much the same pistol.

The trigger takes some getting used to, but after you’ve shot it a while you should do well with it.

Granted, it’ll never match a good 1911 trigger.
