I have a Springfield GI. it has functioned much better than i should expect from a gun i got for so cheap. the only problem that really needs resolving are the sights. In daylight, the stock sights work well for me. but as a carry gun, id like to be able to use is outside of well lit areas. The question is, is there a way to get better sights without modifying the slide? im trying to save money. but as always, i will take any suggestions the board has for me. Thanks Brandon |

Check with King's Gun Works. They offer several sights that will fit your needs without slide mods or breaking the bank. The King Tappan set is very nice around $40. Also, don't forget the tennon size on the front sight for Springers is different than Colt or other copies. I think the size you need is .082". Good luck with your choice. Wrenn |
