im looking for a new SIG and wanted to know what the differences between the SP 2009 and 2340 are. is it just caliber? also, anybody know a good distributor for them? |

Yes, the only difference between the SP2009 and the SP2340 is caliber. Otherwise it is the same, but differs from the other SIG models in its takedown design (and obviously being a polymer frame gun). I've got a SP2340 in .40, no complaints here aside from its post-ban status, limiting it to 10rnd magazines but that isn't a big issue IMO. |

I've had my SP2340 for four years. You won't regret getting either the 2009 or 2340! Mine has worked flawlessly and is very accurate as a SIG should be. You'll find it gets better and smoother with use and age! There are no signs of wear on the slide, so they hold up well, too! |
