I'd hold off until ya learn to spell it, perhaps by then you'll be old enough to "own" it.

Ya well at 2:30 am I should be a little more perfect. (Like those people)
I must be the only one who has misspelled something.

The MC Operator is a great gun..go for it! I wish Springfield would make a Mil-spec version without the custom parts and still with the short light rail...

Any ideas on holsters for an Operator?   None of the shops I've been to have anything that will fit the full rail on my Operator.

I just bought a CompTac C-T.A.C. and love this holster. I can wear my operator with jeans and a t-shirt and you can't tell I'm carrying.  I wear it with a tshirt and shorts a lot too and same thing.

Good price forthe holster too.

High noon holsters will make holsters for the gun at reasonable prices, too.  Off course, Safariland makes the duty holster that mine rides in.

I just posted a photo review of the gun on the GD boards awhile back.  So far I've put about 400 rounds through it and it has been 100% reliable.  I'll probably shoot it tomorrow and post a range report to add to the thread.  The trigger was heavy for a 1911 but I've fixed that with some polishing and a Wolff hammer spring.

I highly recommend this gun even though it is pricey.  I'm totally in love with mine.

I'll tell you how sweet it is.  For years my home defense pistol was a USP Tactical .45.  Then I got mad at HK for being dumbasses so I sold it and decided to get a 1911.  I had fired about 6,000 rounds through that gun, it was like an extention of myself to shoot it.   It was a fantastically accurate gun.  I've shot 400 rounds through this Operator and I've nearly forgotten all about the HK.  I'd much rather have this.  That's saying ALOT, if you know me.

EDIT:  Just updated it with a rainy range report, with more pics and vids.  Hope you enjoy!

I have an Operator.  This was my first 1911.  I love the way it shoots.  Before this my favorate .45 was my sig 220ST.  I have since put it back in the safe and only shoot the Operator.  I am now looking into my second 1911.
