For the $$$ you can't go wrong with a Lone Wolf barrel. just my .02ยข |
Beat me to it. |
I have a 17 and use one of the threaded LWD barrels for lead bullets. The thread and the black make it easier to distinguish from the the barrel for jacketed bullets. The threaded black barrel that I have does not have the LWD logo on the top, rather on the bottom of the chamber area where it does not show, and is kind of hard to see even when the barrel is out as it is black logo on a black finish. Real happy with it, no feeding problems, tight chamber fully supporting the case, perfect drop in with no fitting, and very accurate. Will buy another when another Glock happens along. |

I bought a used G22 that came with a threaded Lone Wolf barrel. I use it for my cast bullet reloads. Since then, I've bought Lone wolf barrels for all 10 of my Glocks and have been happy with them all. They have proven to be just as reliable as a factory Glock barrel, with the added safety of being able to safely shoot cast bullets and reloads in general. In the past, I've owned Jarvis and Storm Lake barrels for other Glocks I've owned. Honestly, I can't tell the difference between them and the more affordable Lone Wolf. |
