What is all inclusive with trigger jobs? when you are up grading a handgun where do you start. Take me through the motions. for instance, do I get a spring upgrade then a trigger job or do I start with the guns cosmetics? what can i do myself (sig products) , what is the legal trigger pull minimum? sa/da? |

I wouldn't advise anything that could be dangerous or ruin a gun. Not to be rude, but more guns are wrecked from those who have more ambition than skill. As far as triggers, SA & DA, it's more of a mechanical limitaion than a legal one...go too light on the DA pull and you get misfires, too light on an SA pull and it becomes unsafe. You may get away with installing a spring kit, if you have to do something but please put the dremel tool and files away for now. I don't know if you are a highly qualified gunsmith (judging by the questions, I think not) or have two left thumbs. I can say this, send it to someone who specializes in that type of firearm for trigger work or any cosmetics, lest you end up with an unsafe paperweight...your gun will thank you. |
