Got a few questions for the HK pros I've had my usp 40 for several years now and i love everything about it except the trigger my questions are will the single action variant improve the pull? if not does anyone sell trigger components that will improve it? What do i need to convert it? Thanks Ed... |
| the different variants only are the plates and levers for the safety/ decocker. All variants of the HK that can fire in SA will have the same pull. However, there is a match trigger you can buy for a USP (it comes in the tactical) that should be what you are looking for. |

Thanks, i just went to the HK site and discovered they don't have a SA only variant i thought i read somewhere a long time ago that one of the variants improved the SA pull but that was back around 94 when i bought mine Can you point me in a direction for the match trigger thanks Ed... |
I believe they do have an SAO trigger. Variant 9. Other option is Variant 1, the most common. Functions as a DA/SA with a safety. You can and should carry it cocked and locked. |

Varients 9 and 10 are not single action only though. They still retain the double action, if you were to manually lower the hammer by using the trigger it would fire double action. A little unsafe to do so however. There should be a match trigger for the 9 and .40 as there is either a 9 or .40 Tactical or expert made I believe. Maybe not in the US though. It's their standard "target" if you want to call it that, trigger. |
