I will be buying a new 1911 commander sized pistol in the next 2 weeks. Im leaning towards a Kimber Pro Crry II, but i also like the Springfield Champion, and Colt Commander. I owned a generic commander sized 1911 and loved it. So lets hear your opinions Thanx |

Back a couple of mo ago I picked up a new roll mark Colt Commander in blue. It came with some of the nicest cocobolo grips I have seen it a while on a standard pistol. I can not say enough about how happy I am with weapon. Fit (slide and barrel) are tight and top notch. This thing is accurate and looks great. Now here is the best part, brand new, $579 out the door. I have 3 1911's in my stable now. I've shopped around and bought several types over the years and I keep coming back to Colt. |
