is there any way to lessen the length of the reset.  I'm used to the glock's shorter reset.

You can send it to SA or a competent gunsmith and they can make the trigger better (over travel and reset). I personally don't know the how to do it yourself way.

thanks, I'll let a gunsmith do it.  It's something I'd surely screw up.  Besides the trigger reset, I love it.  Switched from a glock.

Overall do you think the XD is better than the glock? I have never shot an XD but I have shot a glock 19. 21st birthday I plan on buying a pair of XD's.

Canyon Creek is highly recommended in HS2000/XDTalk Forums.

I have both, and I love both.  It would be hard for me to pick one over the other.  There are different things I like about each of them.

Both have been 100% reliable.  You really cant go wrong with either choice.

Send it back to SA... that way it does not void your lifetime warranty.  AND they will have it back to you usually in 2 weeks.

OR just allow yourself some time to get used to it... its really not that hard to adjust from Glock to XD.
