So I just took my xds .45 out and put my first 100 rounds through it. Im not sure if im holding the slide stop down with my high grip or if I have a mag issue. Anyone else having this problem? I figure I will check my grip first, then maybe open up the mags if that doesnt work. I also have a friend with one so I can try his mags as well. Also, it was only a handfull of times and all on different mags, which kind of leads , e to believe it may have been my grip

My guess is your thumb is bumping the slide stop/release.  I do this on my duty pistol pretty often bc I have big hands.  Change your grip to where your thumbs cross(taking your top thumb away from the SS) for a mag or two and I'll bet it stops.

Thats what I was thinking. My duty weapon is a G21 so obviously I have a little more real estate to use on that and the G30 that I usually carry off duty. Im hoping its just a grip issue cause otherwise I really love this xds so far

More than likely your thumb as has already been mentioned. Never had an issue with mine, also make sure your not limp wristing it as well.
