I wanted to know the difference between these two kits.
Zev kit with sights bare bones Can I scavenge parts from my factory slide or do I need to get Zev specific parts included in the kit above? |

I recently bought my slide and just installed my oem parts for now, as the other poster, you can customize it the way you want. I will say the slide is tight on a standard Glock frame in that it did not slide on like a typical oem slide would. It took a little force to get it on. It is a factory new slide that came directly from ZEV. Once I got it on the frame,it functions good.
Just some fyi, I don't know if you ordered anything yet but I thought I would pass on this deal to you and everyone else wanting ZEV factory parts. I bought my slide from USATAC Inc.,( I have no affiliation to them), and saved quite a bit on the slide-20% and I believe all other parts have the same deal. I bought mine about x3 weeks ago and I am not sure if they still have the sale on still or not, but it would hurt to check. When I ordered mine, the owner said he didn't have it in stock and it would come from ZEV directly and as a bonus he said the slide would come with the rmr plate and all other parts (for a stripped slide) for free. Sure enough, it did. |
