That's right Paul, LE has to wait 10 days too unless your Commander is willing to write a letter on your behalf on official department letterhead. Then you can buy and walk out the door with gun in hand the same day. Back in the day, this wasn't the case. |

If it passes won't it apply to everyone who already owns a gun too? Yes, but it doesn't mean walk in walk out. It just means they can't hold it for any longer than the background check takes. So if it passes the courts expect the DOJ to announce they are understaffed and expecting wait times of 8-12 days. |
