Went today and there was a pretty big crowd. I had to burn up some Visa gift cards on a Magpul stock for a Mossberg 500 and some accessories. The vendor that had them was having trouble with his CC machine and told me he'd be at Ft Worth in two weeks. Okay then. One thing is for sure, I've never seen so many people walking dogs in a gun show. Not those in "Service Dog" vests, just dogs that apparently can't be left alone in their homes while their owners go to a gun show with cramped and crowded aisles.

There's one legit service dog @ the local gunshows - the owner's in a wheelchair. I some some tall black dude walking around w/ a big "service" dog and a "service" puppy. People will be walking around w/ "service" geese next. @DK-Prof

| I am going to stop at the gunshow with my sister and BIL to get a set of night sights to put on my Glock 19. I don't know how long we're going to be there, or what time, but I'll text you when we get there. I am taking them shooting on Sunday. |

| The ARFCOM store is there. Walked about half the show this afternoon but didn't see any cheap lowers. Even HiPoint carbines were high. Did see a brand new Ruger PCC and a Gen 5 26. Should be back tomorrow afternoon unless we ice up tonight. |

Well, looks like I'll be hitting the Mesquite Rodeo show this weekend after all. Smaller show - perhaps Saturday afternoon.

Small but good show. HiPoint carbines - my price bellweather - were over $300, signifying a high priced show. However, found a DetTron AR for $400, so go figure.
The steal of the day was $50 for a Ruger 22/45 receiver, heavy target bbl, & high target sights. I could barely get my wallet out fast enough. |
