Sadly, I anticipate a saturday filled with chores. Sunday going to church and lunch with wife and MIL. Wish I could hit the gun show. If something changes for saturday, I'll check back. |

Looks like we're sleeping in Saturday, petting bats @ the Botanical Gardens next door Saturday afternoon, and will hit the gun show Sunday afternoon.
Sunday noon @ King Tut? Railhead BBQ (never been, was always from the wrong side of the Trinity)? I'd say Fred's on Currie Street but there's no parking. |

Fort Worth was a good show - got the wife a CC purse for less than $200. Had NO idea purses ran that high.
17-18 March Denton Waxahachie Mesquite Big Town Soulman's BBQ is only an exit or 2 south of Hwy 80. We may have to eat @ Soulman's and then carpool to Big Town if the parking situation remains problematic. In days past I would camp out the night before the show, wake up in the RV, and stroll in. |

Has to be Saturday for me. I work 12hr Saturday and Sunday night so I would be in turrible shape on Sunday. I know of a local place y'all can park if you want to ride. My neighbor is having an open house which will make for cramped parking in an old neighborhood. |

Saturday it is. Lemme call Soulman's tomorrow, see if we can park in the back of their lot through their slow afternoon. That would be easiest. I'll post it here.
TLDR: We're meeting in Mesquite - somewhere - dining @ Soulman's @ noon Saturday, then carpooling to the show. Carpool location to be locked down tomorrow, hopefully Soulman's. |

Checked w/ Soulman's, they don't have the parking space. Looks like a spanish-speaking Jehova's Witness church next door, don't know if I can get hold of em.
ETA: Annnd the Spanish church meets on Saturdays, so that's a no go... |

Who else is going? I'm not really feeling like Soulman's for lunch after Texas de Brazil yesterday but I will certainly pick you guys up and run a carpool if needed. That way you can drink at lunch and do drunk buying at a gun show, even better than when online

Not hearing an update, I rolled over to big town at 2pm (not knowing they closed the entrance on Samuell) and I remember why I haven't been to a show in five years Between prices and the people (including one shifty looking black guy asking a huge dealer if he did background checks) it was interesting to say the least. Quite a few women buying guns, and borderline eye candy working the tables to distract you from the prices

The DACA Show at Market Hall will be going on this weekend, March 24th and 25th....I will be set up in my usual spot, Row E towards the end cap of the first group...looking forward to getting some cool new stuff, as I always find something at this show. Hope to sell a bunch too, so I can buy the new stuff....
