Does anyone know if there is a place in the Fox Valley that has 1911 sear springs in stock?
I have a 1911 with a weak spring to the point that it doesn't effectively engage the grip safety and I need to change it before I reassemble.
Does Scheel's carry 1911 parts?

I may take you up on that if I can't find one tomorrow, but I want to go to the range this weekend and I want to shoot this thing!
I will be in touch.
I appreciate it.

No problem.

Ok.
I "tuned" the spring so the safety locks up nicely now but I am concerned with how easily the spring bent into position.
I assume this isn't normal for what is supposed to be a spring.

They bend pretty easy.

I don't recall seeing any of that type of parts when I was in Scheels last (right before Thanksgiving). Precision Sports, down the road in Oshkosh might though...
