THIS EVENT IS BEING RESCHEDULED FOR DEC. 8TH IN ORDER TO GET SOME MORE PARTICIPATION considering that we have over $1,000.00 in prizes and would like to match that in registration proceeds. Got it ... info sent THE FIGHTING AND SURVIVAL TACTICS™ (F.A.S.T.) 3 GUN MATCH WAS ORGANIZED TO PROVIDE SHOOTERS WITH A COMBINATION OF PRACTICAL METHODOLOGY ALONG WITH A FUN YET SAFE ENVIRONMENT TO WELCOME NEW AND EXPERIENCED SHOOTERS ALIKE AND BE ABLE TO APPLY INDIVIDUAL SHOOTING PREFERENCES IN A COMPETITIVE ENVIRONMENT. SAFETY - ABSOLUTELY NO FIREARMS WILL BE HANDLED UNLESS IN DESIGNATED SHOOTER AREAS. LONG GUNS MUST BE CARRIED WITH THE MAGAZINE REMOVED AND CHAMBER VISIBLY OPEN UNTIL CALLED TO THE SHOOTER AREA. HANDGUNS MAY BE CARRIED LOADED AND SECURED IN THE HOLSTER BUT MAY NOT BE HANDLED UNTIL CALLED TO THE SHOOTER AREA. VIOLATION OF THESE RULES AND ANY UNSAFE ACTIVITIES INCLUDING NEGLIGENT DISCHARGES, NEGLIGENT MUZZLING OF NON-SHOOTING AREAS, ETC., WILL BE GROUNDS FOR IMMEDIATE DISMISSAL FROM THE MATCH AND THE RANGE FOR THE DAY (IF THIS HAPPENS TWICE TO AN INDIVIDUAL THEY WILL BE PERMANENTLY "UNINVITED" TO AND BARRED FROM ANY FUTURE F.A.S.T. EVENTS. FIREARMS - OPTICS ARE ONLY ALLOWED ON LONG-GUNS (SHOTGUNS & RIFLES/CARBINES). HANDGUNS MUST BE CARRIED IN EITHER A DUTY-TYPE OR CONCEALMENT TYPE PRIMARY-SIDE HIP OR THIGH HOLSTER (NO CROSS-DRAW OR OPEN-FRONT COMPETITION-TYPES). TARGETS - ALL TARGETS ARE REACTIONARY AND INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: STEEL PLATES OF VARIOUS SHAPES AND SIZES, CLAY PIGEONS, BOWLING PINS, ETC. SCORING - DURING EACH STAGE (HANDGUN - SHOTGUN - CARBINE /RIFLE), THE SHOOTER WILL BE SCORED BY THE TIME IT TAKES TO COMPLETE THE STAGE. THE NUMBER OF ROUNDS FIRED WILL BE USED IN THE EVENT A TIE-BREAKER IS NEEDED. PENALTY TIMES OF 5 SECONDS EACH WILL BE ADDED FOR HITTING "NO-SHOOT" TARGETS. PRIZES - THE TOP, MIDDLE, AND BOTTOM SHOOTERS WILL RECEIVE TICKETS THAT WILL BE DRAWN FOR PRIZES AT THE COMPLETION OF THE MATCH. Extra tickets can be purchased to increase your chances of winning the various prizes that will be offered. |

Sorry folks ... I made a typo on the Global Tactical website it is www.gtactical.com also ... Magpul (www.magpul.com) is on board for some prizes as well. If you haven't registered yet time is running out ... there is one week and two days. There will be pulled pork sandwiches, hamburger soup and dessert available. If you don't want to shoot, come watch and enjoy some great food while you're there! The proceeds are benefitting some of our future leaders here ... let's make a good showing for them. |

Just a friendly greeting to wish everyone a happy Veteran's Day and thank all of you Veterans out there for your service past and present. Also, we've got some good prizes lined up for the match this weekend, the range has been paid for and we're short on registrations. | I gave it a shot . I printed up 10 of the EMs and gave them out at one of the club Matchs . There will be 2 of us coming up from Tampa area Friday night to get a room . If anyone here from the bay area wants we have room for 1 maybe 2 more . EM or IM me ASAP so I can see what we can work out . |

We were few in numbers, but we were really slow too. Thanks for having us Russ. I had a great time. I appreciate you going to the effort with so few signed up. In case anyone is wondering, the Kel-Tec is in the shop so I was forced to struggle (and I do mean struggle) through with the AR. That's the only way Sam shaved me by that 7 one hundredths of a second. AR for Sale... |

Don't feel bad Dave. Had I been registered I would have been embarrassed with my blazing shotgun performance. Besides ... the money went for a good cause and we had fun doing it! Maybe next time more will come. Also, thanks to the guys who sent money even though they didn't attend! |
