Today was the 3 Gun Match in Tullahoma & it was TOO much fun! 5 stages total, about 75rds per gun or so, maybe a bit more in .223 & 9mm. There was a total of about 15-18 shooters, I didn't get a head count as a couple were watching only. One shooter got DQed when his AR sling broke, went muzzle down in mud & he picked it up & fired it. I wasn't in his group so I don't know how bad the mud was the gun hit into. He was less than pleased as his DQ was for the entire match, not just the stage. Everyone was just super nice, helpful & friendly. The stages were a bit of a challange for the most part. 2 of the three stages required shooting all three guns, way cool! I did learn a lot of lessons to be posted later, I don't wish to make this post too long. Web site is (I think) www.3gunmatch.com & they shoot AL & KY as well. |
