| Does anyone know where to get an AK sight tool locally? |
|
arizona is a pretty big place, so you might want to specify what is "local. look around on the AK side and there is a method for adjusting windage that involves a "c" clamp and a socket. if you're imaginative you can probably figure it out for yourself. now for elevation the cleaning kit, which may or may not have come with your particular rifle, has a tool for that or you can use pliers |
| I had the same problem recently... new AK and no patience. I just used needle nose pliars to adjust elevation and a wooden dowel/hammer to adjust windage. After all, this is an AK - zero it once then forget about it. Its not like its accurate enough to actually hit anything. I just wanted to make sure I was keeping all my shots in the backstop. Even better, bump fire it all the time and forget about the sights. |
