Does anyone know where to get an AK sight tool locally?

Try any hardware store.  They usually have a large assortment of hammers that you can pick from.

arizona is a pretty big place, so you might want to specify what is "local.

look around on the AK side and there is a method for adjusting windage that involves a "c" clamp and a socket.  if you're imaginative you can probably figure it out for yourself.  now for elevation the cleaning kit, which may or may not have come with your particular rifle, has a tool for that or you can use pliers

I had the same problem recently... new AK and no patience. I just used needle nose pliars to adjust elevation and a wooden dowel/hammer to adjust windage. After all, this is an AK - zero it once then forget about it. Its not like its accurate enough to actually hit anything. I just wanted to make sure I was keeping all my shots in the backstop. Even better, bump fire it all the time and forget about the sights.

I adjusted one of mine using a small C-clamp and a socket too. I never messed with the elevation on either one.

My SAM-7s will shoot 2 MOA at 100 yards all day long with Uly ammo.

My SAR-1 will do about 3 MOA with Uly.

None of my ARs will do much better than 2 MOA with XM193.

I have one for sale .....  er, never mind!

Be good Richard.

Your best bet is a blow torch, some leathermans, and a jackstand.

If that doesn't work, use a pin set and a big fucking hammer.
