Hey PA folk,

I know there has been talk of us getting together to help each other with miscellaneous builds and just to have a good time. I'd like to help in coordinating such an event. Some things to consider: location, availability, specific gear/topics, etc. Unfortunately, I am not capable of hosting such an event due to townhouse living, so we're going to have to come up with where this could take place. Thoughts? Keep checking this thread over the next few weeks. I'm really hoping for a good turn out here.

What part of PA ?

I'm located in the Lehigh Valley (Eastern PA) but am willing to travel a bit. I'm thinking a gun club might not be a bad idea as a rally point. We might have to pay a guest fee for using their facility, but I'm sure we could find one that would be willing to support a small group of like minded people.

I thought I would be getting a lot more interest...or should I say some interest...from what people have posted under the PA forum in the past. Is no one intrigued by such an event?

I am interested, however I am on the road most of the time for work so I often have no idea where I will be at a given time.
Currently working in SWPA. Home is NEPA.
I will check back to see what develops.

I am intrigued.
BUT...
1 st job schools teacher
2 nd job taxidermist.
Father of 3 active - sports kids.
What sort of build AR or AK?
cost?
I need info to make a final decision.

I would enjoy learning. A new skill

I could be interested.  I'm in the Pittsburgh area and member of a gun club in Murrysville.

I was thinking we could do both platforms as I'm sure there are experts in either or that would hopefully come. Cost should be relatively low if we use a gun club or something of that nature. Normally "guests" are charged anywhere between $10-20 for a day of range use. I was thinking a group buy for pizza/subs/etc. if this will be a few hours long. I'm assuming we could share tools for the build, so the other costs involved whatever you bring along for the build. Are certain days better for some people than others? So far it seems like it varies week to week for you guys, but I'm sure we could come up with something.

No building involved, but there is a get together of sorts this weekend.

For those that didn't make it up/couldn't go/didn't know about it, the goodbye party was a good - if bittersweet - time.
