I couldn't respond to your IM, you are not accepting IMs...

You asked about transporting loaded mags separate from the gun:

This has been the single most difficult question to get a straight answer too!  I have asked every cop and lawyer I've met and gotten inconsistent answers all the time.  I have been meaning to write a letter to the NJSP asking for a written response, just haven't gotten around to it.  If you manage to get good info on this topic, please do share...

Good luck!

In that case it's best that I don't do it until we know for sure.

It would be so convenient to load up the mags at home in my free time, and spend all the range time shooting, but it's not worth the consequences if it is illegal.

Thanks for answering (and informing me about my IMs being off )!

Hmm, I never thought about that topic.  I've always loaded my mags at home but kept them with the rest of my ammo on the trip to the range.  I guess I'll stop doing this for now.  Thanks for actually putting this in the forums.

Any ideas if this applies to stripper clips as well?
