I was thinking of building an AR, but I think there are complete rifles out there already. I was thinking of ordering an ar from CWS or Ten Percent. My questions is, do they have to send the rifle already built w/ the bullet button/prince50 installed? Or do they just send it w/ the lower taken apart. Anyone purchase an AR from either CWS or 10%? Thanks ahead of time. |

It can be done either way. CWS can either find you a Lower that you can assemble or they can sell you a complete firearm configured how ever you want it. Buying a complete Lower from some1 like Rainer Arms in WA can be done also. They know that it must not have a grip and standard mag rel. The problem is if you buy a Lower from some1 out of state, you need to pay the FFL extra, make sure the shipper understands how to configure it...AND DOES IT. In the long run buying and building a Lower in CA is MORE expensive then simply buying it already assembled. If you can slowly gather the parts off the EE by buying only good deals, then you save money on a build. |
