I plan to take advantage of the trap/skeet facilities being open to the public next weekend. I've never been out there before, so I was wondering if we get to use the club's throwers. I know to bring my own weapons, my own clay birds and my own shells. I also will, of course, have eye and ear protection and my FOID card. I have a real crappy thrower, though. Do I need my own thrower? Thanks.

Basically YES, you use club stuff.  I know our "hand throwers" have been kinda flakey this year.  The models we have are no longer in production so we have had some people who are mechanically inclined keeping them running for the most part.

However, if you want to shoot the "gun games" such as trap, skeet, 5 stand etc, then just bring a couple bucks and you can shoot those games at member rates.  (same with sporting clays)

If you are shooting the gun games, you don't need to supply your own birds.  All that is included in the cost of the game.
