Just curious, is it legal for us here to carry an ASP type baton?  Does it require anything special?  The reason I ask is that it seems that expandable batons seem to have some sort of stigma associated with them, and many states will not allow its subjects citizens to carry them.  I fish a lot in various state parks that say "no firearms allowed" and I want to carry something a little more substantial than my graphite rods and a Coleman lantern.

Ghost, I know of no Ga. Law prohibiting retractible batans for citizens.  I carry one and they are quite effective.

I know the_reject carries a retractable dildo.  He takes it to all the Judas Priest concerts.

I wonder how the automatic ones fit into this.

I wouldn't carry something like this without a CCW.  The CCW covers more than just firearms.

Well, I have a CCW, so I'm not worried about carrying it without one.  I thought it might be a better thing to carry than a couple of graphite fishing rods for self defense.
