So I have some cash burning a hole in the pocket and am considering an MSAR, or I heard someone local is coming out with a clone. Does anyone have any info on when the Oregon company coming out with theirs? Also does anyone have any lines on the cheapest place to get the MSAR? Thanks guys. |

Local AUG clone is the AXR by TPD as seen here. It is a true clone, is a great shooter  and will be in regular production in 2-3 weeks.If you want a deal on an MSAR, I know another forum member might have a line on one. -Dave @ TPD

And FYI, TPD is local. I got to see the AXR up close. Ideally...it's the one you want. Very well thought out. MSAR = proprietary mags (unless you mod it), dumbass forward assist, useless bolt release, too high optic rail, non standard muzzle threads. AXR = AR mags, integrated forward assist (A1 type), integrated BHO (pop the CH back and release), AR height optic rail (can use standard AR mounts), and 1/2x28 muzzle threads. Which would you get? Of course none of this mentions the awesome CNC milled receiver...holy crap that thing is a work of art.
