So if I build an AR-15 using a pre-ban lower, Do my 30 round mags have to be pre-ban as well?
Also, Does the flash hider still have to be pinned? |
No and No 
Preban mags are legal in a post or preban weapon ...doesnt matter. You an have a removeable muzzle device on preban as well. Just make sure you barrel is over 16 inches long. ETA: I just want to clarify the answer to your mag question.....the only legal mags in NY over 10 rds are preban and the hi capacity preban mags can be used in pre and post ban weapons without issue. |
