I'm not sure who if anyone here will still remember me. About 4 years ago Some good folks from the Gun Gallery mainly Neil (NewArGuy) FDCC, and some of you folks here at AR-15.com got together and donated enough money to get me An Acog some back up Irons and some other tactical gear. I used that Acog on both of my deployments to Iraq as well as the MEU I went on for my final Deployment. It served me well, even when I carried a SAW, and helped me tremendously. Though I later got issued one I continued to use the one given to me by the good folks I mentioned earlier. And still have the Optic today.
Now I'm out of the Marine Corps and working at the Gun Gallery, but my Platoon Has just left for Afghanistan. I was hoping to put together a nice care package for them. Not neccesarily anything fancy mainly things like beef jerky, Sun Flower seeds, dvd's, phone cards, writing materials, or even just an encouraging letter. And I thought some folks on here might want to participate. If you have any tactical gear you'd like to donate, maybe some Magpul Followers Which I know are very Usefull or anything else you can think of The Gun Gallery has offered to let you buy the items you would be willing to donate at Sale prices. Anything you wish to donate you can drop off at the Gun Gallery in Jacksonville Fl. We will have a box there. I know the guys from 3/8 I co will appreciate it. I know I appreciated it. |
