THIS IS NOT A FOR SALE AD

I am thinking about selling one of my rifles to fund other projects. Problem is, I have no idea how much to ask for it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Specs:
Pre-ban Eagle Arms A2, serial # 3XXX, with 20" match barrel
Daniel Defense A4 upper receiver
Daniel Defense A2 RIS II Mark 1 MOD 0 rail (this was a prototype rail, only 5 were produced
Daniel Defense Lo-Pro gas block
Rock River 2 stage trigger
Magpul MOE grip and v1 enhanced trigger guard
Versa-Pod claw foot bipod
Centerpoint 4-16X40 red/green illuminated reticle scope
Vortex(?) Flash Hider

I really don't want to sell it, but I rarely shoot it and could use the money for other things. A few of the members here have seen/shot it.

Well, what says the HTF? What should I ask for this thing?

My first instinct would be to part it out.

If you want a rough estimate find the cheapest price you can buy the parts online, then drop it 20% or more shipped depending on the part. That's you're EE sale price on used parts of desired manufacture. Others will sell for less.

leland, sell that Pre-ban on Gunbroker. Part it out, sell the upper separate from the lower.

Trust me on this one. Pre-ban lowers go for $300-$500 on the broker to States like NY where Pre-ban still means something. We do it all the time.

I sold a pre-ban Eagle lower for $600 to a guy in NY. It might be better to part it out.

If you do part it out that centerpoint sure would look good on my 10/22!

That was a few years ago too.

Thanks guys. And to tell you the truth, that cheap little Centerpoint scope was originally on my 10/22, and has held up very well on the AR. I was impressed.

Sounds like you will do better parting out, so that's my vote as well.

No one will ever want your exact ar. Part it out. Or I'll give you $250 for it!
