Have you been to Dearborn or Hamtramck lately? They are slaughtering goats in their backyards... It's certainly got me thinking about the long term viability of raising a family here... With Benson winning the primary...I don't see a political path forward, Michigan is lost. |

The concern is Senate, Rogers has a good chance, he needs people to come out in force to overcome the Dems, by the count I read this morning he needs to pick up 300K votes just to overcome the difference in the PRIMARY. |

The MIGOP is trash. Trump hasn't just failed to live up to (impossible) campaign promises, he's gone completely opposite what many people voted for. The far left smells blood in the water, and they're going all in. What are the Republicans doing to fix any of the issues that people are losing their minds over? No one is addressing the issues except to attack each other. They need to unfuck themselves before the general. Purse fighting over who Trump likes more isn't going to cut it. |

I believe part of the issue for the number of votes received by El-Sayed may have been a copy of the 2008 Rush Limbaugh “Operation Chaos” strategy. Rogers was going to win, so why bother voting for him. So Operation Chaos would urge Republicans to switch over to Dimocrats to help vote in a candidate that we feel Rogers could beat. Just a thought. |

Just a thought. That's the narrative the Stevens Dims were pushing(not that I'm disagreeing, it's very well possible), but even if true, I think it's a shit idea. Even ignoring the fact I think James is damaged goods at this point, I don't think Rogers is a slam dunk. Playing fuck fuck games with the midterm is dangerous, doing it with the current situation is suicidal. I'm no Stevens fan, but El Sayed makes her look like a Trump supporter. |
