To my new-found friends in Maryland, I must bid adios! The job I took here evaporated in an instant. It is a long story that I think I will not be able to tell over the next beer, since I will be departing The Old Line State within a few days.

The short story is:

The company said, "You expect to be paid?"
I said, "Do you want to talk to my lawyer in Columbia?"

End of story.

I'll be headed back to Colorado for a while. I have one or two other opportunities here in the east, but I need to be home with my family for a while.

Take care.

Here's hoping you land in a place with better gun laws.

Goodbye Comrade, we will all have to work that much harder to make up for less people....though it's looking like I'll be following suit in about a month back to Texas

I made it back at noon yesterday. I stopped at the state line to memorialize the event.

To answer the question about what I do:

I do business consulting to diversify companies and make them more profitable. I have an engineering degree, and MBA, and a Six Sigma Black Belt certification. I focus on business development, operations, and general management. My background is in semiconductors, data storage, consumer electronics, and government contracting as of late. I was working with a new small MBE (Minority Business Enterprise) in Maryland. They were positioning themselves to play on the small business set-asides on government contracts. The problem was that the management was weak and the company struggled from the start. I think they'll be gone soon.

I'm glad I met you guys. As I mentioned once previously, I'm convinced you are all stark raving gun freaks. Keep it that way!

More pics? You don't have to twist my arm. My favorite spot is at 9200' altitude. I have 36 acres of heaven.
This place will make you dream a little bit, won't it?

This is my shooting range.

This is a forest fire burn from eons ago. It takes a long time to repopulate.

My little one taking a stroll among the aspen.

Looking across my property to the southeast.

You gotta love the Rockies in the fall.

Fall harvest.

Raising my oldest one in "The Ways".

These are for fun.
