Ok, I've decided on an Aimpoint but I need to know which mount to use. I'll be putting it on the "hump" on my RAS II and I need to know which mount will allow it to co-witness. Any assistance is appreciated. Mark |

The ARMS 22M68 mount will do it. No spacer needed. I have two Aimpoints in the ARMS mounts (with canteliver spacers) and they mounts have been very good. However, if I was to buy another Aimpoint mount it would be the LaRue. Very solid. You can buy the high mount or the low one (which you'd need) from Grant at G&R Tactical. If you want, I can bring one of my Aimpoint rigs tomorrow so you can see it? Mount will be high on your blaster, but you should get the idea. |
You lucky devil. Which one? If I had sold that upper or the shotgun I've got for sale, I was going to order one from Gacop. Maybe he'll extend the Kimber deal for GA ArfCom'ers into next year (hint, hint). What time are you going down there? Wanna meet up for breakfast or lunch? I've got the day off and I wanted to go meet Gacop and see the store. I live in Villa Rica which is only about a 30 minute drive to Newnan.
Thanks. I made it this morning. Someone in the Team Member forum asked the question that I wasn't willing to ask, "How do you change your avatar?" |
We are going shooting tomorrow though at ARC in athens. you're welcome to come. Bookhound, you still going to be able to make the noon tee time? |
+1 on Book. I have mine on the quick detachable ARMS with the spacer. It keeps zero even after installing and removing several times. Mine is mounted on a AR-10. |
Nope. I'm picking up ARH in the morning to drag his sorry ass down there (his car is in the shop) and then later I'm supposed to hook up with kblagg in Athens. I've got other stuff to do too, so some plans are still in the air. |
