Anyone know a reputable individual that could install an AC unit into an existing Bryant Heating Unit? I already have all the duct work. I just don't want to get screwed by the local Bryant Dealer. |
Yes I am. Because it's too goddamn hot in my house in the summer. The upstairs is over 80 degrees at night. Thanks to sun all day long. I often wondered if a couple of fans at either end of the house to pump out the hot air would work better though. |
I put a ceiling fan in my kitchen and during the summer it usually does a bang up job of keeping the house quasi-cool. |
Is it the crazy one, the ghetto one, or the one that blows up seal bombs? |
The one that has the big shop who used to own an HVAC Company....builds cars, boats, and whatever else you need. It wasn't a seal bomb (that was the ghetto one) it was acetylene... |

I put a ceiling fan in my bedroom at the last place we had and it made a huge difference. Of course I went 9 years in that place before I did it and then we sold it. The new house has a heat pump so the summers will be nice and moderate from here on out at the bosifus ranch. |
Roger that. I'll chat with him on Friday then. |
Yeah but you have an 8' door.

Thats what a friend of mine who lives in Phoenix said On the fans note.. we hardly use our AC in the summer. Trick is, open up the house when it gets dark and in the morning. Get a fan blowing in and a fan blowing out at the other end of the house. Inside of our house stays a nice 75-80 during the day(when its like 90 something outside it is much nicer) without the AC.. Now.. when it gets to the point where its hot and muggy for days on end where it doesn't cool down at night.. then you want the AC |
Yeah I already do that with window fans and it does cool the house down quite a bit. But there are some days where it's pure hell inside the house. That is why I'm looking into other options. |
