STEEL CITY 3-GUN
NOVEMBER 17TH 0930 On Saturday November 17th, B.G.T.C (Brock's Gap Training Center) will be hosting a 3-gun match that will consist of 5 stages. Registration starts at 0830- Register at the large pavilion in the parking lot. (PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED! Send an email letting me know you will be there.) *feel free to forward this email to anyone you feel may be interested* General Info: * 5 stages. * 3 stages in the pistol bays, 1 jungle run stage (shotgun only), 1 long rifle stage * $25 entry fee * Classes: tac optics and tac irons only - only one magnified optic for tac optics. one unmagnified red dot is allowed for tac irons. * Max rifle distance= 400 yards. * steel city multi gun rules apply, with the exception that for the shotgun, the shooter may have extended magazine tubes with extra capacity. This means that at the buzzer, all shotguns will be loaded to division capacity- (=9 rounds total) but the shooter may load additional rounds as necessary after the buzzer. rules can be found on the brocks gap web site. *Be prepared to sling your rifle only * Shooter must be able to load all ammo from their belt, staging ammo will not be allowed. *Be prepared to kneel and go prone- knee pads and elbow pads are advised. * Shotgun slug targets will be between 75-100 yards *Max pistol shot- 30 yards. *We will be able to drive to the long rifle stage on H range, but the jungle run we may need to walk, so be prepared..... Round Count: +/- 125 BIRDSHOT 5 SHOTGUN SLUGS +/- 150 PISTOL ROUNDS +/- 125 RIFLE ROUNDS (these are estimates so bring extra!) NOTE: There will be a practical tactical match running on the same day of the match. They will be using some of the pistol bays as well.
