Well on the 20th a few of us got together at BRRC for a day of shooting. From the feedback I would say we all had fun. One guy was late and got lost and didn't make it. And the 4 of us said we needed to do this one more time before it get right down cold So, are you three still wanting to go back? I am going out this up coming Saturday the 3rd of Nov. Same place the Micky D's at mile marker 199 or hi-way H just west of Wright City. Can take on a couple more if anyone is interested or if we have another member of BRRC joins in on the fun. I am sure we can take on 6 or 8 more guys. Anyone interested just drop a note here so we can get a head count. Oh BTW we will be meeting up at 8AM if that is good for everyone. |
| Ok, guys, see ya at the golden arches at 8AM. Firetoad thats fine, and if Chumpmiester wants to stay for a bit longer we can get you out and I will go back to the range. I would like to stay no later than 2 myself. Got a few things outside to take care of before the big freeze comes Tuesday. My friend from work had an accident Monday morning. He is fine but the rear end got smeared and will be looking for a new car so he told me. So, looks like it will be just us 3 unless someone jumps in later tonight. The on-line schedule of events says that all 3 ranges will be open. Might be busy with hunters sighting in their deer rifles. |
I might be one of those sighter inners!  Actually, I will bring my Glock (and not forget it this time!!!!), sporterized K31 and my AR (I changed out the trigger and added a Hogue overmold, so I am hoping it is a very positive addition!). See ya guys in the AM! BTW, I had a couple of people at work ask me to get some brochures/info for them regarding the range! |

Chumpmeister sorry you wont be able to join us. Maybe in the spring unless we have an unusually warm Nov. or Dec. Firetoad, we will have another silent member join us. Will have to make a stop in the main club house and see if any brochures for those who are asking. See ya at 8AM |

Thanks again Firetoad and jaws1948 for the good time at the range today. Shooting with friends make a good day at the range, great. BTW my muffs were where I left them. Great people at a great range. Two guy were next to them and said that they where there when they arrived. Dang 2 hrs later and no one had touched them. Oh, well back to getting a few things ready for winter. 3 down and about 3 to go. Later gents |

Paul, Thanks again for the invite and the opportunity to share in some shooting fun with you! jaws1948, it was very nice to meet you. I had a great time, muzzle blast or not from that 10!  BTW, I made it home and decided to clean out the garage! We have been in this house for almost two years and I have only ever been able to park one vehicle in the garage and it was my wife's for the kiddos and such. Well, I got the itch and finally threw lots of stuff in the construction dumpsters close by (one advantage to being in a subdivision still under development!), carried boxes downstairs, pushed a broom, etc. I am now finished and both cars are in the garage with lots more room than I had ever thought was possible!

Paul, Thank you for the invite to shoot on Saturday morning. I had a great time. I cant express how much I appreciated the outing. You took a complete stranger into your group to shoot high powered weapons. Thanks again Firetoad, also very nice to meet you, hope to see both you guys again.......... |
