Brother L, where is that .gif image you usually put up?

There was a recall on some holsters in the past for exactly that problem, or maybe he was trying to holster with his finger on the trigger.  Pistol won't go off by itself, someone or something, like a poorly designed holster, has to pull the trigger.

A buddy bought the Cominolli jig and parts to install on Glock SF21s but never did do it.
Or have me do it.
That kind of device might prevent that type of accident but who knows?
I really do like Glocks but carrying one scares the shit out of me.
I'm way to used to a DA revolver and morphing over to the DA/SA semi autos like the Sig and Ruger.
I did use a 1911 for a while in competition back when they had the Laramie Shoot for Loot competitions (late 70s) but it was second nature to lock it before holstering it, and unlock when presenting it.

this don't really fit the situation since he shot hisself in the ass instead of the glock blowing up in his hand, but

Yeah but shooting yourself in the leg holstering the gun is still called Glock leg!

Dan, are you admitting that somebody could have a negligent discharge holstering with a da/sa like a sig?

No. They don't call shooting yourself in the leg Sig Limp or anything like that. It's always called Glock leg.

Keep your finger off of the trigger until ready to fire is something that every student hears multiple times in any firearms class.

It amazes me that some people still want to blame the gun when the student fails to follow instruction.

Light trigger pulls, bad holster design, etc, etc we've all heard the lame excuses. The bottom line is, it was the failure of someone who didn't follow one of the cardinal rules of firearm safety that caused an accidental or negligent discharge.

Brother L is just being funny. You may not believe this but he's owned a Glock before and shot it so many times he wore out the metal rails on the plastic frame.
I'm a bit spooky with Glocks because of so many accidental shootings but I think they are great shooters when you get used to the trigger going clack instead of click.

I'm to blame for that, negligence in proper care of a weapon; the dude I sold it too had it rebuilt and afaik is still shooting it today.

course I don't knock them for reliability, just for the funky grip angle I never could get used to
