I've always taken the time to shoot OR members whom I don't recognize a link titled "stop on in and say hello", with the link being into here. No matter who they are. so............. You guys must scare them off becuase of your abrasive nature ![]() |
good. <spit> we don't need no pansies in here anyway
|
What about Tromatic....I see him in reloading, don't think I've ever seen him in here..... |
Ya, what the hell is up with that. He must not like us. Cant say I blame him.

He is too busy posting about plastic love dolls, soaking in kiddie pools filled with sausage gravy and other like items. He is a celebrity, not low enough for us ground pounders |

we do have pretty good HTF participation in relationship to our population. Last year I did a quick statistical study on the percent of post vs. state population for all HTF groups. Oregon was in third place behind Washington and Nevada. I'll give my spreadsheet a cut and paste...may not work State(s) Total Population ('05 est) Posts (26Jan07) Post % Alaska / Hawaii 1,938,855 1146 0.059% Arizona 5,939,292 4277 0.072% Arkansas 2,779,154 502 0.018% California 36,132,147 3535 0.010% Carolinas 12,938,325 2553 0.020% Colorado 4,665,177 1213 0.026% Dakotas 1,412,610 295 0.021% Florida 17,789,864 2922 0.016% Georgia 9,072,576 5053 0.056% Gulf States (Alabama, Mississippi & Louisiana) 12,002,524 1997 0.017% Illinois 12,763,371 2871 0.022% Indian 6,271,973 1426 0.023% Iowa 2,966,334 619 0.021% Kansas & Nebraska 4,503,474 505 0.011% Kentucky 4,173,405 543 0.013% Maryland, Delaware, D.C. 6,994,433 1526 0.022% Michigan 10,120,860 2045 0.020% Minnesota 5,132,799 1959 0.038% Missouri 5,800,310 2313 0.040% Nevada 2,414,807 2915 0.121% New England, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, RI, Vermont 7,840,981 1486 0.019% New Mexico 1,928,384 197 0.010% New York & New Jersey 27,972,555 4816 0.017% Ohio 11,464,042 3166 0.028% Oklahoma 3,547,884 2158 0.061% Oregon 3,641,056 3218 0.088% Pennsylvania 12,429,616 2082 0.017% "Rocky Mountain States, Montana, Idaho, Utah & Wyoming " 5,343,645 981 0.018% Tennessee 5,962,959 1171 0.020% Texas 22,859,968 8585 0.038% Virginias 9,384,321 3979 0.042% Washington 6,287,759 10473 0.167% Wisconsin 5,536,201 1924 0.035% |

So, you guys are gonna go on a recruiting mission? Wow... In my 3 1/2 years here, this is the most pages we have ever carried thru the winter, ever. Last year, it was 10 to 11. We carried that number thru the summer while everyone was mowing lawns, BBQ'ing and spending time with family. Coming around nicely! |
I think alot of it has to do with the fact that the OHT actually does things together. The last shoot in Sept was great, got to meet people that share a common interest, and for the most part are just as loony as myself That and having guys just stop in and say hi (ch139 and Camo_Ken who I missed cause it was my day off) and taking guys like SHawkins and jrucker out to some of my shooting spots.

I never got no stinkin IM. Its ok though, I was a smarty and clicked that little box that says hometown and found Orreegon. I like the OHTF there is a good bunch of people in here, and there is Cape and Peta. The shoots are cool and who cares aobut the other states we all know that NFA FRIENDLY ORYGUN is sweetass.
