Anyone realize that Shoot Straight upped their transfer fee from 25$ to 50$ plus 5$ for background for a total of 55$ ?

Has to be the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard especially when all the local shops are still doing the transfer for 25$

Florida Ammo Traders does transfers for $25 + $5 and are great guys to deal with.  Went into Cracker Boys for the first time this week and they also seemed like great guys to deal with.  Just wish they would have had a 4", 7 shot S&W 686 in stock.

That's good to know. They are right down the street from me.

These tranfer prices make me really miss Texas.
Some guys and shops out there do it as low as $10.

I apologise for posting wrong information ( whipped with wet noodle)
I stated that Pace charged $45.00 for a transfer plus $5.00. I checked my records and it was $35.00 plus $5.00 for a total of $42.45
It still tells me that it appears they have a two tier system.. Oh well..

It is a two tier system in a way. The owner told me that if your a return customer and/or he recognized you he will do a transfer for 25$ But he also stated that his average rate was 30$

They were selling guns like CRAZY today.

I overheard someone say that there was a 90 minute wait between closing a deal and walking away gun in hand.

After I heard that I walked over and looked at almost 50 guns lined up on the floor with paperwork awaiting call in.

Did they get reasonable with their prices or did all the gullible ones get taken?

went to the show this week end and the man in charge seemed rude
I don't think I'll be using them when I buy my 1919, M14, Sig 239 or other gun items
