So, my AVG Anti Virus is set to expire tomorrow.

I can't afford the $68 to renew it.

What good free anti virus software is out there?

The best part about hysteria is watching it.

Haven't used an anti-virus program in years. Everyone else handles that.

But seriously. If everyone else gets a vaccination, the epidemic is already contained. Right?

Maybe I'm full of it, but it works out here in the styx.

+1 for MSSE,................................was using Avast (free), but got hit by a bug that actually was able to turn it off

I later got hit by a new pop up/redirect virus, within 24 hr MSSE had an update for it.

YMMV

I was not paid to say this.

I never had any problems when I had dial-up, switch to hi-speed and I've had to deal with a few.

I use FiOs with a 35/35mb/s connection, speed has nothing to do with viruses, it has more to do with people clicking on shit they shouldn't .
