The wife and I are going to Toronto in September, then stopping at Keuka Lake for a couple days on the way home. She has her sights picked out in the city, but is there anything we should check out so far as restaurants, etc? I go to upstate NY (and Quebec) fairly often, but those are fishing trips so I don't do much that interests her.  Apparently it's a thing to get real Cuban cigars in Toronto. Is there any point for a non-cigar guy to seek out 6-12 of these? By the way, I will be packing a rod. So if you have a secret fishing hole to share near Toronto or in the Finger Lakes, shoot me a PM. I might be able to sneak off while she's at the Shoe Museum. Cross posted to NY Hometown... |

| Depending on when you go, you could catch a Blue Jays game, the Leafs 1st preseason game is the 22nd. Hockey Hall of Fame, Aquarium, Railway Museum, Zoo. The few times I’ve been, with the exception of one time, I’d park at the airport and ride the train into DT. A lot less stressful that way. If you can reservation's one night, eat at Canoe. |
