...about good places in the Dakotas where I could promote a political adventure novel that takes place in eastern North Dakota? Local talk radio shows, local print publications that would be interested, things like that.

Rob Port just emailed me back today saying that he's read enough of the book that he wants to have me on for a radio interview this coming week.
Edit: AND he's going to do a book review on his website!
