Where to find en-bloc clips locally? I know I've seen them at gunshows, but was hoping whoever sells them regularly at the shows has some sort of store front or something.... We're getting a Garand today

We just want a few to get by with as we'll probably be ordering some Greek surplus already loaded into clips

Thanks either way

Ok good... I know what it's like to have a new "toy" and not be able to play with it...

I am superstitious about a new firearm. It must be tested and sighted in asap once purchased... It's bad luck to wait too long....
I also never shoot all the ammunition when at the range.. That's bad luck too....

that's why you carry one on you and have the "truck" gun in reserve

Yeah the gun didn't actually have one with it, but he scrounged one up from in back

Dad might be getting some off fleaBay so we'll just wait and see...

Thanks all for the offers! Might take you up on it if this falls through or they're crap. Ya never know

Think we're going to have our Vietnam Vet buddy to order some loose Greek ammo for us too
We've probably put four or five clips through the Garand now, and we're in love with this thing.
He has to go all out and find all the paraphernalia that goes with it...

beware the Garand thumb

although, much like the measles and mumps. if you've had it once, you're immune now.

Yuck! Funny though, I'm the one teaching everybody how to load the thing... In firmly and out quickly and slap forward if needed.
Never have had one bite me

Warning!  They're more addictive than potato chips or pistachios.  At one time I had around 25 of them.  I got professional help (a divorce lawyer!) and now have just three; a document WW2 vet bringback and consecutively serial numbered 6.09 Type 1 1958 National Match DCM sales rifles.  I used to have a few thousand rounds of .30 M2 as well but those went to pay the lawyer.  All my clips are USGI and in pretty good condition.  There's a few that could probably stand a tumble in some walnut media but that would be about all.
